"With several companies relocating to Austin, my wife and I decided to purchase a rental property.

"Sharmila helped me and my wife find our dream home in E Austin. I have lived in Austin for around 20 years and am hence quite knowledgeable about the area. We had very specific requirements; we wanted a place close to the river and not too far from downtown and in a quiet, relatively upscale neighborhood in E Austin. I found a few places that worked for us (on Zillow) and Sharmila found a few others. Eventually, once we settled in on the place, Sharmila swung into action. She was very proactive in helping me decide on the price. (There were two other offers on the home and Sharmila suggested that I make an offer slightly over the asking price.) She was also very good at getting the price reduced by around $10K--toward fixing a few items that were in a state of slight disrepair--after our offer was accepted.

All through, Sharmila was very respectful and prompt in our exchanges. She also has a very good assistant (Alex) who is also very prompt. Finally, Sharmila has good contacts with both lenders and with other relevant personnel (e.g., home insurance agents, handymen).

So, overall, I highly recommend Sharmila. (I am giving her a 4-star on “local knowledge” because I didn’t really get to test her on this dimension.)"
